Candace Driskell
Candace Driskell is a San Francisco based writer with a love of all things Irish. She lived in Galway, Ireland for two years, where she earned a Master's in Writing from the National University of Ireland. When she wasn't studying, she was lugging her trusty backback around Europe, hitting countries such as Scotland, Belgium and Austria where a tour guide had to phsically restrain her from prancing around the gazebo from The Sound of Music. The travel bug then took Candace to New Zealand for a year, where she traveled the country in a beat-up van and threw herself out of an airplane.
Candace has written for TravelMuse, Mocha Bride, Moon Guidebooks and currently works at Lonely Planet.
