Pretavoyager
Prêt à Voyager (translation: "ready to travel") explores the world where the tourist and local intersect. "Travel is not about where you go, but how you see the world." Started by graphic designer Anne Ditmeyer on Bastille Day 2007, this francophile's goal was to explore her passions for design, travel, different cultures and communications. The blog is part travelogue, resource guide and gallery of inspiration. Boarding Pass is her weekly column looking at the creative ways people see the world and record their adventures. After moving to Paris she started the column {Un}Glamorous Paris to explore the less than perfect sides of living in Paris with a sense of humor. When she's not spending time on her own blog or traveling, she's working as a contributing editor for Design*Sponge, and taking on freelance graphic design work, social media projects, and consulting gigs.
Anne has lived in Virginia, Minnesota, Kansas, Idaho, Maryland, on a ship around the world, and currently resides in Paris. 47 US states, and over 30 countries around the world later, Anne continues her quest to explore the everyday world.
